If you have some left over Chapathis or Tortillas, do try these Pizza rolls...Its a simple and quick recipe. I got this idea from the Bread Pizza which I make quite often and hope what I named this dish is quite suitable !! Add the sauce and vegetables topped with cheese...like how you normally do for a pizza....and everything as per your taste buds demand !!! The wheat chapathis and lot of vegetables makes it a healthy snack or breakfast for your kids.
My son is nearing to 2 and he speaks a lot. Usually he says "Nice" if he likes any dish. He too had the pizza roll and he said the word "Yummy" for the first time. When I asked from where he picked up that word, he said Caillou, which is his favorite cartoon. :) The praises from the little one makes me happy the most...what else do you need, rt?? :)
Ingredients:
(There is not much to explain...I am not mentioning any quantity here. Please do add according to your taste )
Chapathi/Tortilla
Pizza Sauce
Vegetables of your choice (I used onion, tomato, bell pepper, corn)
Italian seasoning
Cheese
Salt
Pepper
Take each Chapathi or Tortilla. Spread the sauce on top of it.
If you want, you can slightly cook the vegetables in microwave for a minute.
Add salt and pepper to the vegetables. Now spread them on the chapathi.
Finally add the cheese. Microwave for a minute or until the cheese melts.Sprinkle the Italian seasoning.
Now roll the chapathis and cut into two.
Now roll the chapathis and cut into two.
Serve them hot.
