Noodles is usually a favourite dish with kids. But its still a favourite one for me. I bought some noodles this time and thought of making in an Indian style rather than using the sauces. I have also prepared the Spaghetti in Indian style and this recipe is also a similar one. You can use any noodles, even the Maggi noodles. Add vegetables and the spices and make it very tasty and healthy. It's a flavourful noodles with all the spices.
Ingredients:
1/2 of a Noodles packet (For 2 servings)
1 Onion chopped
1 Bell pepper chopped
2 Tomatoes chopped
1/2 cup Corn
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
1 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp ground Fennel seeds (Dry roast the Fennel seeds and powder)
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon
Salt
Pepper
Oil
Cook the noodles according to packet directions. Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Splutter cumin seeds. Add onions and ginger-garlic paste. Saute until onion turns transparent. Add bell pepper and corn. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Add the tomatoes and mix well. Cover and cook until the tomatoes gets cooked and mashed up. This will give a saucy texture to the noodles. Add the spices and salt. Finally add the noodles. Mix thoroughly so that noodles get coated with the spices and vegetables. Sprinkle pepper for making more spicy. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
